Fingertip Picks: Spring 2014

Today I thought I'd introduce my first little 'edit' on the blog called 'Fingertip Picks' (not sure on the name) where I show you my favourite nail varnishes for a specific time of year/occasion; in this case, Spring. I've selected five nail varnishes I will be wearing and loving all throughout the upcoming season to give you some ideas or inspiration of what to adorn your talons with in a few months time. Enjoy!

[Left-Right]:

2True Colour Quick - Shade 14 : A gorgeous milky lilac fairly similar to Models Own Utopia. I love the flat brush in the 2True bottles as it provides easy and quick application.

Maybelline Forever Strong Pro - Ceramic Blue: A lovely pale periwinkle blue accompanied with a great formula. Just my cup of tea.

Barry M Nail Paint - Matte White: I love white nails all year round but particularly in Spring/Summer as it looks so classic with a tan. This shade is quite matte on its own so if you dislike that finish you can always add a clear topcoat like I do.

&OtherStories - Moire Green: A super pale pastel green that is just so pretty to look at! I'm such a sucker for these nearly-white shades hence why I love Spring so much.

Sinful Colours - Easy Going: My go-to polish for school; simply an almost-white pink shade that looks great with long and short nails alike. This is a great dupe for Essie's Fiji too and for £1.99 you can't go wrong.

So those were my 'Fingertip Picks' for the fast-approaching Spring season; a rather cliché bunch of pastels but hey; pale nails are everywhere this Spring and I am certainly going to be loving it!

What are your favourite Spring shades?

    1. Thankyou! I'm probably not the best person to ask as I have only had my blog since January, but I'd say create original content and try to have your own writing style-it's good to show personality in your blogposts:) Also, big photos are a must, as well as a unique blog design and simple fonts and layout. Hope this helps a little!
