Love, Like, Hate // Maybelline Mascaras

Hello everyone! Today brings a new edit for CloudEsmé; Love, Like, Hate. This is going to be where I talk you through three specific products from a particular brand, one of which I love, one I like and one I really don't get along with.

I'm usually one to stick with drugstore mascaras and one brand everyone seems to gravitate to, including myself, is Maybelline. They just seems to have the widest selection of brushes and mascara types and are a brand I know and trust. I have several of their mascaras in my collection, some of which are staples and others which just don't cut it for me...

New Camera YAY

My most-loved of the bunch is the Falsies Black Drama. This is super volumizing, thickening and has an extremely black finish. The brush of this is fiberous and slightly curved which allows you to get right to the root of the lashes giving a full false lash effect. I like.

Next up is the quite controversial The Rocket Mascara. I picked this one up after hearing rave reviews from the lovely Estée (essiebutton) and was intrigued by the larger than average wand and short bristles. This mascara is great for volume as well as separation (if that makes sense) and the plastic bristles ensure no clumps.

Lastly is the Rocket Waterproof Mascara. Of course I like this mascara wand, as I do with the original Rocket, it's just the formula. The only way I can describe this is as eyelash cement(!). I've tried to get along with this formula but it literally does not come off, even with strong eye makeup remover this pulled out several eyelashes - boo, and some product still remained. Perfect if you're a keen swimmer (unlike myself) or if you're a hardcore waterproof mascara lover, but not for me.
