The Heavy Duty Beauty Bag

Firstly, I just want to apologise for going over two weeks without posting! Art exams and revision have unfortunately taken over and as much as I didn't want it to, my blog has taken a back seat. Not to worry, I am back today with an exciting post exploring the contents of my 'heavy-duty' beauty bag (bearing in mind I do not pack lightly..). I took this with me at the weekend as I was staying with family for my Nan's 80th Birthday celebration and apparently needed 3kg of makeup for the occasion. Here goes..


Base: YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation, Bobbi Brown Corrector, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, 17 Stay Time Concealer, Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre

Cheeks: Rimmel Santa Rose Blush, Max Factor Soft Pink Creamy Blush, NYC Sunny Bronzer

Eyes: Stila In The Light Palette, MUA Matte Palette, MAC Quad (here), Urban Decay Anti-Ageing Primer Sample, Maybelline On And On Bronze Colour Tattoo, L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara, Eylure Brow Pencil, Maybelline Brow Drama

Lips: MAC Patisserie, Topshop Ohh La La, Maybelline Cherry Velvet Baby Lips, LUSH Popcorn Lip Scrub

Tools: Real Techniques Expert Face, Powder, Blush, and Setting Brushes, MAC 217, EcoTools Wide Shader, 2 Elegant Touch Eyeliner Brushes (one for brows, one for powder eyeliner), Glass Nail File, Nail Clippers, Tweezers, Bobbi Pins, TwistBands

Hair/Skin: Oribe Dry Texturising Spray, Nivea Soft, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +

Extras: Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose, S&G Hand Food, M&S Antibacterial Gel, Kleenex Blotting Sheets, Mitchum Deodorant

So here's eveything I packed in my beauty bag. Suprisingly I did manage to cram most of this on my face over the course of the two days and had a lovely time:) Hope you enjoyed and thankyou for reading!

    I'd say this is a reasonable selection...You can never have too much choice.

    I love the look of your MAC quad! I've written down the names to take a closer look at them soon.

    A fab post! That MAC quad looks beautiful - I love all of the four colours. I must remember to pick up the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer next time I'm in Boots. I've seen it on so many blogs recently with fantastic reviews.

    I really love the Maybelline On And On Bronze Colour Tattoo, it's so gorgeous! I always take too much makeup, but then I always leave what I end up needing! Lovely post!
