First up is the Bourjois CC Cream in Ivory. I've worn this the past two days and all I can say is love at first application. Seeing as it is a lighter base I wasn't expecting particualrly great coverage or anything wow, but the colour correcting properties in this do a pretty decent job of counter-acting the redness in my cheeks and in particular hide an unexpeted amount of purple in my undereye circles. Plus, the finish is not too matte nor dewy, but more of a satin appearance, me like. So far, super impressed and cannot wait to wear this for school and in the summer months.
I very rarely take the time to swatch at the Natural Collection counter as the testers are always so grubby, but finally my local Boots put out some clean stock out and I was all over their lipsticks. One peachy nude that caught my eye was Rose Petal. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but judging by the swatch I think this will be a lovely affordable option.
After hearing all the rave over the Maybelline ColourSensational Glosses I finally snapped up Cashmere Rose yesterday and was very impressed by the non-sticky formula and gorgeous neutral shade. A big tumbs up from me so far!
Anna over at ViviannaDoesMakeup always seems to be featuring the Rimmel Scandaleyes Bronze Kajal on her website so naturally, I was dying to give it a go. A warm chocolate-bronze colour with gold shimmer and some impressive pigmentation, I can tell this will be adorning my lids non-stop during spring.
Lastly, not exactly beauty related, but recently purchased nonetheless are my New Balance trainers. I was originally going to go with the classic monochrome pair but then realised that everything I wear is black and white, so why not spice it up a bit? In the end, this grey, white and orange pair entered my life and as of yet have not come off my feet.. I am completely in love with these shoes; extreme comfort, a smidge of colour and perhaps some
I hope you enjoyed this small collective 'haul' if you like. Thankyou so much for reading, and remember, once my exams are over (mid June time), be expecting more exciting and -fingers crossed- more regular content, but for now thankyou for bearing with me:)
